typical day at school is a typical day at school tbh. although chase would try to get jackie to skip some classes with him (mostly math and science), but it never worked. on both their ends actually, cuz jackie usually talked chase out of it (there was only once or twice he wasn’t able to)

after school was always them hanging out at one of their houses before dinner, and it helped that they lived within a reasonable walking distance of each other. i probably mentioned before but after school hangouts just consisted of jackie doing homework while chase played video games. sometimes jackie could rope chase into doing his homework then instead of last minute like he usually did.

sleepovers were a very common occurrence, especially over the weekends! the other’s home was basically a second home for them, they could walk in whenever and always be welcomed. sleepovers (and honestly just hangouts in general) were more common at jackie’s house though since he was an only child, and chase had two younger siblings that would always try to drag jackie away to play. and jackie was always too nice to say “no”.

in terms of just normal activities they did, there was a semi old playground near that school that they liked to hangout at. the playground never had… any kids honestly, it kinda just turned into a teenager hangout over the years (and even then there were rarely any teenagers hanging there). but “hanging out at the playground” usually turned into jackie babysitting chase to make sure he didn’t jump off the slide and break his legs. chase was a super reckless kid/teen-
